Hi Salsa friends,

Just wanted to relate a quick story about an experience Lori and I had with one of our students last week.

We were packing up after our Friday night party, exhausted as usual, when one of our students ... I'll call him JOE ... let us know how grateful he was to us for having the Salsa class, thanking us for being so patient with him ... and so on. Well, we get these kind of compliments every now and then but what struck me was what he said next. He said ...

I ALMOST QUIT ... TWICE!

But he stuck to it because, he remembers me saying ...

"You might feel like you are getting it ... but by the time you get home tonight ... you'll forget. THIS IS NORMAL. Come back again to build your muscle memory. You'll really start GETTING IT after the 3rd or 4th class."

I say this often to new people but it seems like it goes right over their heads. JOE is also doing the right thing by coming to the Friday Night Dance Party where he practices what he's learned.

You too will learn how to dance much quicker by DOING IT!!! And not just taking classes. Only then will you realize how much FUN dancing really is.
